Those were the best of times, those were the slowest of times.

Think about it-- we lived like our 32K was 32M, our 90K SS/SD floppies were 60G hard drives, our 300 baud modems were T2 lines, and our 1Mhz processor was a quad-core 8Ghz Xeon!

I definitely miss the 99'er days, all the friends I made, the fun I had learning about computers-- certainly the best days of my life!
I just found 5 large boxes of TI 99/4A stuff in the back of a closet. Just for giggles I put it together and everything worked. I even remembered how to access DSK1 and am in the process of checking out some of my flippies. It sure brought back many happy memories. I am glad I found this site.

The TI/994a taught me alot. I spent countless hours as a teenager programming all sorts of things. Those were some of my fondest memories in my life. I miss those old days and love to reminisce. I had all of the books, game books, you name it. What an awesome time.

Hello all
Glad to see you all still exist.
I have a TI 994A with numerous cartridges and it is one of a very few with the pascal compiler system. I will need to sell it by next year as we are moving to AZ. and just do not have the space for it.
If anyone has any interest I would be happy to provide a list of all items and software and photos as well.
Hope you all have a great Holiday Season.

I haven't run my Geneve for many years but the cards are still on a shelf here. My work on c99 and other software for the TI 99/4A and Geneve was one of the high points of my 40 year IT career.

Just looking in for old times sake. Gone Mac now (via OS/2 and then Linux), and have only a few rare bits of TI hardware remaining.

Best regards from Funnelweb Farm to any old TI friends who happen to read this
